Bell Textron has launched Bell Textron Ukraine to support a prospective sale of AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters and UH-1Y Venom utility helicopters to Ukraine. The new subsidiary will coordinate assembly, maintenance, repair, and industrial cooperation inside the country. Any acquisition would proceed through the US Foreign Military Sales process. Both aircraft share around 85 percent common components, helping simplify sustainment and logistics.
