Iris provides maintainers with instant access to technical manuals and maintenance instructions while allowing remote experts to provide real-time assistance through live video communication.The system also automatically records maintenance activities, creating searchable digital records that improve documentation accuracy, knowledge sharing, and future planning.The deployment supports the Air Force’s broader digital transformation efforts by integrating advanced technologies into sustainment operations and improving aircraft readiness.
