Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace has secured a new contract from Germany for additional Joint Strike Missiles intended for the country’s upcoming F-35 fighter fleet. The precision-guided missile is optimized for stealth aircraft and can attack both maritime and land-based targets while remaining concealed inside the F-35’s internal weapons compartment. Featuring advanced navigation, terrain-following capabilities, and two-way data links, the missile is designed to operate even in GPS-denied environments. Germany’s purchase builds upon its expanding military cooperation with Norway in missile systems and naval defense technologies.
