The US State Department has approved a possible foreign military sale of AGM-184 Joint Strike Missiles to Belgium for integration with its F-35A fighter aircraft. Developed by Kongsberg, the missile is optimized for fifth-generation aircraft and combines stealthy design with long-range precision strike capability against naval and land targets. The deal, valued at up to $236 million, also includes training, sustainment equipment, and support services. Belgium joins a growing list of F-35 operators adopting the Joint Strike Missile to improve stand-off strike and maritime attack capabilities.
