Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has issued a small infrastructure tender at its Bengaluru facility, signaling preparations for the Tejas Mk1A induction. The upgrade targets VVIP areas within the Customer Service Building, which hosts high-level officials and foreign delegations. This aligns with the planned delivery of the first batch of aircraft in 2026. The Tejas Mk1A includes advanced systems like AESA radar and indigenous electronic warfare capabilities. Simultaneously, HAL is expanding production capacity to meet future delivery targets.
