Saab has unveiled the first Gripen F, a twin-seat version of its latest-generation fighter aircraft developed in partnership with Brazilian industry. The aircraft combines the advanced sensors, mission systems, and combat capabilities of the single-seat Gripen E with an additional cockpit dedicated to pilot instruction and mission training. The dual-seat configuration enables instructors to participate directly in flight operations, creating a more realistic environment for advanced combat training while preserving the fighter’s operational effectiveness.
