Russia has proposed its 3M-14E Kalibr-PL cruise missile to the Indian Navy for submarine-based land-attack capability. With a range of up to 1,500 km, it exceeds India’s requirements and offers deep-strike capability from standoff distances. The missile can be launched from standard torpedo tubes, simplifying integration with existing submarines.
