The UK has confirmed a $160 million procurement deal with MBDA for six Land Ceptor missile launchers, alongside a package of supporting vehicles and battlefield systems. Delivered under a three-year contract, the acquisition will include 12 ammunition carriers, eight baggage vehicles, and eight advanced threat evaluation units. As part of the wider Sky Sabre air defense network, Land Ceptor launchers are capable of either standalone deployment or integration into multi-layered defense grids. Equipped with MBDA’s CAMM interceptor, the system delivers rapid air protection, allowing British forces to defend high-value assets from aerial attack. The deal reflects ongoing efforts to modernize UK ground-based air defense in response to growing missile and drone threats worldwide.
