Northrop Grumman’s Jackal precision strike missile has successfully completed an important flight test, marking another milestone in the system’s development. During the demonstration, the missile validated automated turbojet engine start procedures, autonomous flight control functions, and high-speed maneuverability. The results indicate growing maturity of the platform and demonstrate its potential effectiveness in contested operational environments where GPS access may be limited or denied.
