The Indian Air Force and Indian Army have significantly enhanced joint operational capability through deeper integration between the Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS) and the Army’s Akashteer network. The upgraded architecture enables real-time sharing of radar, drone, and sensor data, creating a unified air picture for rapid threat assessment and engagement. Tested during Exercise Josh 2, the system demonstrated improved coordination, automated weapon allocation, and faster reaction times against aerial threats.
