Adani Defence & Aerospace has laid the foundation for a ₹4,500 crore missile manufacturing hub in Shivpuri that will serve as an end-to-end production centre for advanced missile systems and energetic materials. The integrated complex will manufacture propellants, explosives, and mission-ready missiles under one roof, supporting India’s expanding self-reliance in defence production. Expected to be operational within three years, the facility will create thousands of employment opportunities, strengthen local supplier participation through MSMEs, and enhance logistics infrastructure. The investment further establishes the Gwalior–Chambal region as a major centre for India’s private-sector defence manufacturing.
