The US Army has awarded KBR a task order valued at up to $208 million to assist its Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions Project Office with the development and deployment of advanced precision-strike systems. The five-year agreement will cover a broad range of activities, including advanced engineering, rapid prototyping, modernization, foreign military sales, and global logistics. KBR will also help streamline acquisition approaches to accelerate the fielding of new capabilities in response to changing battlefield requirements. The effort supports Army priorities spanning multi-domain operations, aviation lethality, and counter-drone missions. TAGM oversees programs involving weapons such as Hellfire, Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles, Javelin, TOW, Hydra rockets, and Long-Range Precision Munitions. KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions organization will perform the work, with the division expected to become part of Trinzic as part of a planned corporate separation. The award reinforces KBR’s role in supporting the Army’s precision-fire modernization and lifecycle requirements.
