has secured a contract valued at nearly $1 billion to deliver hundreds of electronic warfare upgrade kits for the F-35 Lightning II fleet. The modifications are believed to support the Block 4 modernization package aimed at strengthening the aircraft’s ability to detect, track, jam, and deceive advanced enemy radar and communications systems. The contract includes kits for US military aircraft as well as international customers participating in the F-35 program. The upgraded AN/ASQ-239 electronic warfare suite is expected to improve sensing performance and help the fighter counter more sophisticated threats emerging from countries such as China and Russia. Deliveries are scheduled to continue through March 2032.
