Sweden has awarded contracts to BAE Systems and Saab as part of a large investment to strengthen its air defense systems. BAE will supply the Tridon Mk2, a mobile 40mm platform capable of engaging multiple aerial and ground threats. Saab will deliver a modular counter-drone system integrating radar and weapon stations on a mobile vehicle platform. These systems enhance Sweden’s ability to defend against evolving aerial threats while ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure.
