Swedish startup Nordic Air Defence is strengthening its presence in Eastern Europe by forming a strategic alliance with Poland’s WB Group and Tantalit to counter emerging drone threats. The collaboration focuses on deploying and potentially manufacturing the K100XR interceptor within Poland’s defense ecosystem. Designed for affordability and rapid deployment, the carbon-fiber interceptor can operate at high speeds and is optimized for short-range engagements against hostile drones. NAD will act as the primary developer, while its Polish partners will enhance system integration and provide advanced AI-enabled command systems. The agreement also includes plans for joint research, technical evaluations, and future export initiatives. This move reflects growing demand for scalable counter-UAS solutions amid evolving aerial threats.
