Shield AI has been selected by the US Air Force to deliver its Hivemind autonomy software for integration into Anduril’s YFQ-44A under the Collaborative Combat Aircraft program. Acting as an artificial intelligence pilot, Hivemind can reroute around restricted zones, respond to threats, and complete missions independently. The selection follows a competitive evaluation focused on reducing technical risk before flight demonstrations.
