Embraer has formalized a sustainment partnership with Hungary to support its C-390 Millennium transport aircraft through ongoing maintenance and logistics services. The agreement leverages Embraer’s European support network to maintain high availability rates for Hungary’s two-aircraft fleet. Designed as a versatile multi-mission platform, the C-390 performs transport, medical evacuation, humanitarian, search and rescue, aerial refueling, and paratrooper missions. Hungary’s configuration includes a globally unique modular intensive care unit system. Since the aircraft’s induction at Kecskemét Air Base, the fleet has supported air mobility and tanker missions for Saab Gripen fighters. The agreement strengthens long-term operational sustainment as Hungary integrates the C-390 more deeply into NATO-aligned air operations.
