Lockheed Martin and the Pentagon have agreed to more than triple PAC-3 MSE interceptor production over the next seven years, raising annual output from 600 to 2,000 missiles. The move supports the Pentagon’s Acquisition Transformation Strategy, which encourages long-term planning and industry investment. The PAC-3 MSE, deployed by 17 nations, features dual-pulse motors, improved maneuverability, and hit-to-kill capability. The expansion relies on congressional funding, advanced manufacturing, and supply chain diversification.
