Saab has secured a major AEW&C contract from France for its GlobalEye surveillance aircraft, reinforcing Europe’s shift toward next-generation airborne command and control platforms. The GlobalEye offers extended endurance, wide-area sensor coverage, and modern mission systems suited for high-intensity operations. Once operational, the aircraft will replace France’s decades-old E-3F fleet and strengthen both national and allied early-warning capabilities across contested airspace.
