The Danish Ministry of Defence has confirmed a €500-million purchase of NASAMS to meet its medium-range air-defense needs. Deliveries start in 2026, with operational readiness targeted for 2028. The system integrates Kongsberg’s launchers and command elements with Raytheon’s Sentinel radar and AMRAAM family missiles, giving Denmark a modern multi-threat interception capability.
