Pratt & Whitney has received a $1.6-billion U.S. Navy contract covering global sustainment of the F135 engine fleet supporting the F-35 fighter. The deal spans spare parts, logistics, technical documentation, depot work, and operator training. Production and support activities will run in the U.S., Europe, and the Indo-Pacific, finishing in 2026. The company is simultaneously advancing propulsion systems for next-generation crewed and uncrewed combat aircraft.
