Embraer has rolled out a new standard paint scheme for its KC-390 Millennium military transport aircraft, aiming to enhance visibility at trade shows, international airshows, and promotional events. The updated livery will also allow for future customization according to individual customer preferences, demonstrating flexibility for export and partnership programs. Embraer emphasized that the new design aligns with its broader strategy to raise awareness of the KC-390 on a global scale and respond to growing operational demand. The aircraft, which spans 35 meters (115 feet), can carry up to 26,000 kilograms (57,320 pounds) of cargo or transport 80 personnel, with a maximum fuel load of 35,000 kilograms (77,162 pounds). Equipped with two IAE V2500-E5 turbofan engines, the KC-390 can reach speeds over 500 knots (926 kilometers/575 miles per hour), fly distances up to 4,570 nautical miles (8,464 kilometers/5,259 miles), and operate at altitudes up to 11,000 meters (36,089 feet). Its versatility enables operations including logistical support, medical evacuation, firefighting, search and rescue, and humanitarian missions, while optional electronic warfare and self-protection systems enhance survivability in high-threat environments. Embraer plans to showcase the refreshed KC-390 demonstrator at key international aerospace and defense events before the end of 2025, reinforcing its export strategy and commitment to delivering high-performance, adaptable airlift solutions. The new visual identity not only improves brand recognition but also reflects Embraer’s ongoing investment in operational excellence, marketing, and customer engagement across global markets.
