Ukraine is set to receive four advanced IRIS-T missile systems from Germany’s Diehl Defence under a contract worth $2.5 billion, strengthening its defensive posture in the ongoing conflict.
The systems include fully integrated command centers, radars, and mobile launchers, giving Ukraine a broader air defense envelope against enemy drones, cruise missiles, and aircraft.
These next-generation systems, with interception ranges of up to 100 kilometers and speeds of Mach 3, will play a vital role in countering high-speed airborne threats.
