Rheinmetall and ERC System have partnered to establish domestic manufacturing capabilities for the Victor U250 hybrid-electric cargo drone in Germany. Designed as a versatile heavy-lift unmanned aircraft, the platform combines vertical takeoff and landing capability with long-range logistics performance, enabling operations without conventional runways. The modular design supports multiple mission configurations, including military resupply, emergency response, offshore support, and medical logistics. The initiative also contributes to strengthening Germany’s domestic aerospace manufacturing ecosystem and future autonomous aviation capabilities.
