The Royal Navy has conducted joint operations between Wildcat helicopters and Puma unmanned aerial systems during the Tamber Shield exercise in Norway. The drills focused on countering fast-moving littoral threats in complex multi-domain environments. Puma drones carried out forward reconnaissance missions, transmitting targeting information to Wildcat crews equipped with Martlet missiles and Sting Ray torpedoes. The exercise also included simulated electronic warfare threats and fast-attack craft scenarios, helping crews practice evasive maneuvers and coordinated maritime operations under contested conditions.
