The Norwegian Army has taken delivery of its first Valkyrie drone swarm from Six Robotics, marking a major step in integrating autonomous systems into its ground operations. The delivery includes comprehensive training and onboarding programs for future operators.
Developed jointly by Oslo-based Six Robotics and the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment, the Valkyrie drones remain under active development, with additional units expected in the coming months.
The systems will soon undergo operational testing within the army’s maneuver battalions and at the Army Weapons School, where feedback from soldiers will shape future upgrades and refinements.
