Tata Advanced Systems has introduced an indigenous unmanned ground vehicle designed for military missions in difficult terrain. The tracked platform can carry payloads up to 1,000 kg and travel at speeds of around 20 km/h, with endurance depending on configuration. A hybrid-electric drive supports low-signature movement and extended operations. Navigation modes include tele-operation, autonomous waypoint travel, and follow-me functionality. The UGV can be used for logistics, reconnaissance, engineering support, and potentially light combat roles. A wheeled variant is also available for road or urban missions.
