Schiebel has formally introduced the S-101 and S-301 weaponized Camcopter drones, signaling its entry into the armed UAS market. Built upon the operational Camcopter S-100 and enhanced S-300 airframes, these new platforms provide heavier payload capacity and compatibility with guided munitions. The S-301 continues the evolution of the S-300, which boosted payloads to 250 kilograms, surpassing the S-100’s 50 kilograms. Developed through Schiebel’s newly formed defense subsidiary, the systems prioritize military-grade robustness and functionality in heavily jammed electromagnetic battlespaces. According to Hans Georg Schiebel, the international security situation has accelerated demand for armed unmanned solutions, and the S-101 and S-301 are intended to offer reliable combat capability across land and naval domains.
