is expanding its military drone portfolio through a planned acquisition of Skip Dynamix’s drone business assets in a transaction valued at up to $7.5 million. The agreement merges Draganfly’s AI-enabled autonomy and defense integration technologies with Skip Dynamix’s low-cost unmanned aerial platforms. Among the acquired systems is the Orca fixed-wing drone, designed for ISR missions, communications relay, electronic warfare, logistics, and strike operations. The deal includes cash payments, company shares, and milestone-based compensation, while Skip Dynamix founders are expected to remain with the business following completion. Draganfly said the acquisition will strengthen its offerings for NATO and allied defense customers requiring scalable and rapidly deployable drone systems.
