The AeroForce X UAV, jointly developed by Dynamatic Technologies and Aerodata AG, is being proposed for India’s large-scale MALE drone acquisition program. The platform stands out due to its indigenous design ownership and software control, allowing India to modify mission systems, integrate sensors, and adapt operational capabilities without external restrictions. This approach eliminates vendor lock-in and enhances long-term sustainability. The UAV is expected to support ISR, communication relay, and future strike roles, making it suitable for multi-domain operations. The collaboration combines Aerodata’s expertise in mission systems with Dynamatic’s manufacturing strengths, creating a competitive offering tailored to Indian defence requirements.
