Greece’s Hellenic Navy has selected Schiebel’s Camcopter S-100 UAS for its new FDI frigates, beginning with HS Kimon. The VTOL drone can conduct day-and-night missions in adverse weather and transmit data across a 200-kilometer link. Additional units will support training and future frigate deployments through 2027. Outfitted with electro-optical and maritime surveillance payloads, the S-100 enhances maritime security, environmental monitoring, and anti-submarine operations.
