Ukrainian forces can now directly procure ground robotic systems through the DOT Chain Defence online marketplace, broadening access to automation technologies. Initially piloted with limited brigades, the platform rapidly expanded to 180 units and delivered tens of thousands of drones within months. Funding and contracts are handled centrally, while units select needed systems independently. The initiative has significantly shortened procurement timelines and strengthened reliance on domestic defense manufacturers.
