Ultra Intelligence & Communications (I&C) will deliver nine Knox-5 processors to the US Marine Corps, enhancing the MQ-9B drone’s onboard AI and edge computing capabilities. The new processor reduces dependence on off-platform processing, allowing the drone to handle sensor data directly in real time. Built to SOSA standards, Knox-5 supports a wide array of sensors and mission systems, improving situational awareness and responsiveness.
