Ukraine has equipped its largest unmanned ground vehicle, the Protector UGV, with a remotely operated Tavriia-12.7 turret, transforming it from a support platform into a frontline combat system. The turret features a 12.7mm Browning M2 heavy machine gun paired with a digital fire-control suite capable of tracking and engaging personnel, armored vehicles, helicopters, and drones. The upgrade significantly enhances the UGV’s firepower and battlefield utility, expanding its role beyond logistics into direct combat operations.
