Performance Drone Works (PDW), an Alabama-based company, has secured over $15.3 million in contracts from the US Army for its exclusive C100 small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS). These drones are expected to enhance the Army’s posture in high-profile battlefields, primarily by being distributed across the Central Command, European, and Indo-Pacific areas of responsibility. The C100 sUAS are anticipated to provide “game-changing” capabilities, offering both tactical air support and medium-range reconnaissance.
