Ondas Holdings is set to acquire Israeli robotics firm Roboteam in an $80-million deal that will broaden the company’s autonomous systems division and unify aerial, ground, and counter-drone technologies under a single portfolio. The move is designed to position Ondas as a more competitive provider of integrated robotic and ISR solutions for defense and security agencies worldwide. Roboteam specializes in unmanned ground vehicles capable of operating in hazardous, complex, or combat-driven environments. Its lineup spans lightweight tactical robots to heavy-class platforms exceeding one ton, supporting missions such as bomb disposal, surveillance, urban reconnaissance, and hazardous-material detection. The company’s systems are in operational use across more than 30 nations, including key military customers in the US and Israel. Beyond hardware, Roboteam offers the Roboteam HUB command-and-control platform, which merges multiple unmanned assets into a synchronized operational network. This gives military units a unified interface to coordinate ground robots, aerial drones, and other autonomous tools during multi-domain missions. Ondas expects the acquisition to meaningfully boost its financial performance, with projected gains of up to $4 million in Q4 2025 and more than $30 million during 2026. Roboteam’s recent contract awards—over $20 million from an existing defense customer with deliveries stretching to 2026—further enhance its business outlook. The acquisition supports Ondas’ broader strategy to build an end-to-end robotics ecosystem, improve mission effectiveness, and deliver integrated solutions for modern battlefield and homeland-security operations.
