Polaris Government and Defense has secured a new contract from the US Marine Corps for additional MRZR Alpha Ultra-Light Tactical Vehicles, including the debut of the 5kW exportable power configuration. Designed for expeditionary operations, the MRZR Alpha supports rapid deployment inside MV-22 Osprey and CH-53 helicopters while carrying out logistics, medical evacuation, reconnaissance, and counter-drone missions. The new 5kW variant allows Marines to power tactical command systems, air defense equipment, and forward operating grids without separate generators, improving battlefield mobility and operational flexibility. More than 500 MRZR Alpha vehicles are already in USMC service across multiple mission profiles.
