Lithuania has marked the introduction of its first HIMARS launchers during a ceremony hosted by Lockheed Martin in Arkansas. The launchers form part of a broader modernization effort aimed at enhancing deterrence and interoperability along NATO’s eastern flank. Capable of delivering long-range precision strikes and rapidly relocating after firing, HIMARS significantly improves battlefield survivability and operational flexibility. The program also reflects expanding defense-industrial cooperation between Lithuania and the United States.
