Finland’s Patria is moving to deepen cooperation with Hämeenlinna through a planned agreement centered on defense industry growth, industrial modernization, and skills development. The partnership comes as Patria expands collaborations across Europe, including armored vehicle projects in the Czech Republic and drone-related initiatives in Ukraine. The effort also aligns with the EU-backed FAMOUS armored vehicle program, which recently secured 79 million euros in European Commission funding to support multinational defense development activities.
