Teledyne FLIR Defense has unveiled three advanced HD vision systems aimed at strengthening vehicle awareness and operational effectiveness across modern combat environments.
The company’s latest offering includes the ThermoVision SA90-HD, the DV55-HD driver vision camera, and the MilSight LIRC III thermal imaging solution, together forming a comprehensive 360-degree vehicle vision package.
The SA90-HD provides electro-optical and infrared imaging with minimal latency, enabling crews to react quickly to threats and navigate effectively in all weather and lighting conditions. A 90-degree field of view allows the system to maintain broad coverage around the vehicle while compensating for movement of the hull or turret.
Designed specifically for drivers, the DV55-HD features dual EO/IR sensors and delivers 1280p high-definition imagery over a 55-degree viewing angle. Through sensor fusion, it enhances navigation, threat detection, and hazard recognition during both daytime and nighttime operations.
The MilSight LIRC III thermal sight offers flexible observation capabilities with selectable wide and narrow fields of view. Weighing less than 9 kilograms, the system integrates advanced digital imaging, Ethernet-based video transmission, and electronic zoom features to support long-range surveillance missions from infantry fighting vehicles.
Presented at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, the three systems are now available for deployment across military and commercial vehicle platforms.
