Buenos Aires has advanced plans to obtain 235 Stryker armored vehicles through US Foreign Military Sales and Excess Defense Articles programs. The fleet will include several configurations tailored for infantry transport, command functions, fire support, and medical evacuation. An initial batch of eight vehicles has already reached Argentina, while an additional 50 are expected as an early delivery. The Stryker provides high mobility, armored protection, and flexible weapon options, supporting Argentina’s efforts to modernize its mechanized Army capabilities.
