Slovakia has received the final batch of Patria AMV XP armored ambulance vehicles under a government-to-government agreement signed with Finland in 2022. The delivery completes a package that includes 10 ambulance variants in addition to 60 infantry fighting vehicles and six command post platforms. Valued at approximately $447 million, the agreement also incorporates technology transfer initiatives aimed at strengthening Slovakia’s domestic defense manufacturing sector and industrial independence. The program includes associated ammunition, logistics support, and infrastructure development, contributing to the modernization of the Slovak Armed Forces.
