Polish defense conglomerate PGZ has introduced a new export-oriented configuration of its Borsuk amphibious infantry fighting vehicle during a defense exhibition in Bratislava, Slovakia. The showcased variant combines PGZ’s Universal Modular Tracked Platform with the Slovak-made Turra 30 V9 remotely operated turret developed by EVPÚ, marking the first integration of the two systems. The vehicle is armed with a 30mm automatic cannon, a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun, and Spike LR/LR2 anti-tank guided missiles, providing enhanced firepower against armored and infantry threats. PGZ highlighted that the lightweight and modular design of the Borsuk enables easier customization of armor packages, mission systems, and weapon configurations according to customer requirements. The company also emphasized NATO interoperability, amphibious capability, and operational flexibility as key selling points for international markets seeking modern tracked combat vehicles.
