BAE Systems Hägglunds has partnered with Knightec Group Brazil to establish local production of military vehicle components in Resende. The collaboration focuses on supporting the BvS10 amphibious vehicle program, starting with the development of gear housings designed to enhance performance and reduce costs. The partnership leverages technology transfer and Knightec’s engineering expertise to strengthen BAE’s supply chain and expand production capacity. The BvS10 platform is widely used by multiple countries, with over 1,200 units in service globally. This initiative supports growing international demand while reinforcing local industrial capabilities in Brazil.
