The UK and Norway have formalized their participation in the CAVS program by signing its R&D agreement, strengthening multinational collaboration on a common 6×6 armored vehicle platform. The move grants both countries access to established product development packages and opens the door to future procurement decisions. Since its launch in 2020, CAVS has secured substantial orders across member states, including Germany’s multi-billion-euro acquisition. Designed for long-term service and interoperability, the Patria-based vehicle combines mobility, durability, and NATO-standard compliance, reinforcing collective European land force modernization efforts.
