Washington has cleared a prospective $185-million defense sale to Ukraine focused on spare parts and sustainment equipment for US-origin systems already in service. The Class IX components will support maintenance and readiness, enabling higher operational availability amid sustained combat operations. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency emphasized that the sale strengthens Ukrainian resilience without expanding US personnel involvement. The approval adds to a series of significant 2025 defense packages covering missile systems, air defense sustainment, and guided munitions, reflecting ongoing US logistical and material support for Kyiv.
