The US Army has unveiled the M1E3 next-generation Abrams tank, showcasing early prototype photos that reveal a slightly lower turret, new sensor windows, and indications of upgraded targeting capabilities. The vehicle will feature an autoloader, potential integration of loitering munitions, and enhanced software for improved battlefield awareness. Advanced mobility allows it to navigate complex terrain and adapt rapidly to evolving threats. Testing is scheduled to begin in early 2026.
