Fincantieri and KAYO have formed a joint venture to develop Albania’s naval shipbuilding capabilities. The partnership aims to construct up to 10 naval vessels by 2030 while revitalizing domestic production at the Pashaliman shipyard. Fincantieri will lead export opportunities, particularly for offshore patrol vessels, while also managing supply chains and program execution. The initiative strengthens Albania’s defence industry and aligns with broader regional cooperation efforts, including joint procurement and production programs with neighboring countries.
