Brazil’s Navy has signed a memorandum of understanding with UAE defense group EDGE to strengthen cyber defense capabilities across naval systems and infrastructure. The agreement focuses on improving resilience of maritime networks, operational technology, and digital assets. Both sides will study the creation of a dedicated naval cyber defense unit, alongside tools for monitoring and protection. The deal also includes personnel training and discussions on integrating cyber capabilities into future naval operations.
