CACI International has won a five-year, $416-million task order to upgrade and maintain the US Navy’s IT systems through Naval Sea Systems Command, advancing the Navy’s mission to modernize maritime maintenance and sustain fleet readiness.

Awarded under the SeaPort-Next Generation program, the task supports the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution, which is focused on streamlining logistics and maintenance processes across ships and submarines.

Over the contract term, CACI will leverage Industry 4.0 technologies, Agile software practices, and its Agile Solution Factory framework to migrate existing legacy systems into a cloud-first, integrated IT environment.

The modernization will help the Navy make data-driven decisions, optimize resource management, increase efficiency, and reduce maintenance costs fleetwide.

This effort is part of a broader push for IT modernization, alongside General Dynamics IT’s $988-million C5ISR program, Sev1Tech’s $49-million cybersecurity and network support contract, and Agile Defense’s $44-million Military Sealift Command IT upgrade initiative.
